Terms of Service

1. The service
Quotebaken provides software for organizing client details, creating estimates, sharing quote links and recording quote decisions. A quote sent through the service is between the sending business and its customer; Quotebaken is not a party to that agreement and does not provide legal or financial advice.
2. Accounts and use
Provide accurate account information and protect your login credentials. You are responsible for the content, accuracy and legality of quotes and client details you add, and for protecting shareable links. Do not use the service for fraud, unauthorized access, illegal solicitations or uploading harmful code.
3. Free trial
New accounts may start one 14-day free trial by selecting a paid plan, providing an eligible recurring payment method through Stripe, and explicitly accepting the subscription terms at checkout. No subscription payment is collected during a new eligible trial. At the end of that trial, the selected plan is charged automatically unless the subscription is cancelled beforehand. Legacy no-card trial accounts retain their original trial terms and are never automatically billed without separately authorizing a paid subscription. If a previous trial is expired or almost over, immediate billing may apply and is disclosed before checkout. After an unpaid trial ends, editing is paused while existing records remain readable, subject to availability.
4. Subscriptions, automatic renewals and cancellation
Starter costs $29 or €29 monthly and $279 or €279 yearly; Pro costs $59 or €59 monthly and $569 or €569 yearly; Business costs $99 or €99 monthly and $949 or €949 yearly. All published subscription base prices are exclusive of VAT or other applicable taxes. USD and EUR are separate fixed price lists, not automatic foreign-exchange conversions. Once enabled, Stripe calculates applicable tax based on the customer's location and tax details, shows the resulting total before authorization and applies tax to future recurring charges. Following an eligible trial, recurring charges include the selected base price plus any applicable tax until cancellation. Illustrative 21% VAT examples are for taxable Dutch customers only; actual VAT or other tax can be different or zero where legally appropriate. You may manage or cancel via the Billing & plans page and its secure Stripe billing portal. Cancel before the trial ends to avoid the first subscription charge. Cancel before your next renewal to avoid further renewal charges, subject to applicable law.
5. Features and availability
Starter supports up to 50 newly created quotes per calendar month, with USD or EUR estimates and manually selected VAT rates or reverse-charge notation, customer links, client records and manual follow-up checklists. Pro adds unlimited quotes, invoicing, projects, a calendar, time tracking, advanced insights, quote CSV exports and opt-in automatic follow-up sequences. Automatic in-app actions work without email configuration. Outgoing customer email requires the account owner to verify a domain in Floot Email, enable the sender and activate each quote's email sequence; delivery is not guaranteed. Business includes Pro, staff planning, workspace activity, client and follow-up CSV exports, and up to five invited teammates with Manager or Viewer roles. The owner controls team invitations and billing. Downloads are limited to 10,000 records per file. The comparison on Plans & Pricing describes current features. SMS automation, third-party accounting integrations and other features marked “in development” are not yet available. We do not promise uninterrupted service or a specific increase in revenue or conversion rates.
6. Your data
You retain your rights to client and quote content you enter. You grant Quotebaken the permission needed to host, process and display that information to operate the service. Do not upload data you are not authorized to use. See our Privacy Policy for handling of personal data.
7. Customer quote responses
A recipient may record an acceptance or decline through a public quote link. That action records a status, name and time but is not presented as a legally verified electronic signature. The sending business must determine any separate contractual or signature requirements.
8. Support and changes
For service questions contact info@quotebaken.com. We may update these terms and announce material changes appropriately. The service operator may supplement these terms with additional legally required business identification and consumer notices.
